Lauren Crouse was born in Newport News, VA and raised in Mocksville, NC. She attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her undergraduate education, where she majored in Nutrition and minored in both Chemistry and Entrepreneurship. As an undergraduate, she was a Public Service Scholar and was actively engaged in volunteering both domestically and abroad. She attended the Brody School of Medicine where she was awarded The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship for her work developing and teaching an interactive health and wellness curriculum for a local community center. During medical school, she was a research fellow in the Dermatology Clinical Trials Unit at UNC-Chapel Hill. She completed her internship at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte before returning to Chapel Hill for her dermatology residency at UNC.
She is excited to continue to serve the Triangle community at Family Dermatology. When she is not working, she spends her time with her husband and two young kids.
